ABOUT

Monaco Plaisance was founded in 1990 by Jean and Claude Rodelato.

Thanks to their professionalism and experience in the nautical world,

they have established themselves as privileged logistical partners

for racers and yachtsmen in Monaco and on the Monegasque series.

In collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco and the owners,

they were actively involved in rebuilding the 888 Smeralda Class,

which includes 17 boats in the world,

all sailing under the colours of YCM for over 20 years.

Monaco Plaisance is a North Sails and Harken distributor in the Principality.

In 2024, Steve and Charles take over

Monaco Plaisance

bringing their own activities

and with the aim of perpetuating the business

created by the Rodelato brothers.

Monaco Plaisance is your partner

for boating in Monaco.

Our main activities:

  • Dynamic buoys and the organisation of nautical events

  • Pleasure boat training

  • Logistics and maintenance for your boat

  • Advice and personalised support in all areas of boating.

After training in the Merchant Navy,

Charles sails for several years

onboard commercial ships, cruise ships

& on the expedition ship Tara

during the Arctic drift.

In 2012, he joins Yacht Club of Monaco,

his childhood club,

and becomes logistics manager

for sailing events.

At YCM, he discovers

geostationary marks, MarkSetBots,

and creates MC Marine Concept - MCMC

in 2019 to promote their use in France.

He also specialises in teaching

pleasure crafts licences.

Steve is a licenced State Sailing Instructor,

In 1999, he joins the Sports Section

of the Yacht Club of Monaco.

For almost 25 years

he is a reference between YCM

and the Monegasque Ministry of Education

for teaching students to sail.

He is also key figure in the organisation

of YCM's nautical

events such as the Prada Challenge

the Prada Challenge and the Riva Trophy.

Since 2005, Steve has been

YCM teacher for the

Monegasque coastal licence.
